“ Tucked inside the always-cool Mills Alley, Milked Alley surprised me. I came in for a quick bite and ended up staying longer than planned because the ramen was that good. The broth is rich and balanced—deep umami without being overly salty. You can tell they take the time to do it right. The noodles? Perfectly chewy and hold up in the bowl without getting soggy. I had the shoyu ramen and added a soft-boiled egg—yolk was spot-on, jammy and seasoned just enough. The vibe here is something else too: cozy, unpretentious, with a bit of that new-school LA-Japanese aesthetic—wood, stone, and ambient lighting. You can sit solo or with friends and not feel out of place. If you’re into ramen that respects tradition but doesn’t try too hard to be trendy, this is it. “ I went there for the first time because of a friend's recommendation, and I liked the open kitchen and the clean and simple cafe style, not like other izakaya style. It was nice to be greeted at the open sushi bar. The food was reasonably priced and I thought it was worth the price when the food came out. The quality of the food was very good, it was very flavorful, and it was delicious. I think the quality of food is more important than the price. I went for lunch this time, but next time I will go for dinner. I recommend this place if you want to eat good quality and delicious sashimi, sushi, and Japanese food. ”

“ The service is excellent. Multiple waitresses asking if you need anything. The food is beautifully presented and tasted great. But it's a little pricey. My main gripe was the rice with spicy tuna for $30. It was good but way overpriced. The tempura was very well cooked and the sushi was good. Beautiful restaurant as well. ”

I always order the same Chirashi bowl and they maintain the quality and consistency. The ingredients are always fresh, it might not be the same type of fish but I rest assured it is always fresh. There was a fire alarm going on. so they had to move us in the outside area and offered us a free ice cream on the house. It was very generous of them.
